Why Alpha Pi Phi?
Hello all Potential New Members:
Alpha Pi Phi is a community of strong, diverse women who love and support each other in all that we do. I have personally found a true home here amongst the sisters of Alpha Pi Phi's Theta Chapter. Each semester, our sisters look to grow our community and welcome new women into our ever growing sisterhood. Recruitment, or "Rush" is at the beginning of each semester and is very fun for all who attend. Come out for fun sisterhood bonding events, philanthropy events, and much more! Rush is commitment free and a great way to meet new people on campus.

Why Our Sisters Love Us
I joined Alpha Pi Phi because I wanted to find a community at Brandeis that I could always count on to grab a meal or lend a helping hand. I've found so many amazing people through APP and it has become such an important part of my college experience!

I joined Alpha Pi Phi my first semester of freshman year because I wanted to be a part of a sisterhood. I had a strong background of sisterhood because of the camp that I attended, and I couldn't wait to experience that at Brandeis. When I rushed, I loved the atmosphere and the closeness of all of the sisters and wanted to be a part of that. Everyone was so genuine and I immediately felt at home. I have made some of my best friends here, and I hope you can do the same!

I’ve never been part of a community and family that is solely based on strong women until now, and it has been such a positive thing in my life at Brandeis and my life as a person. I am part of APP for the people, for the conversations, the smiles, the hugs, the awesome apparel, and the for the unconditional support that I receive.

I joined Alpha Pi Phi because I wanted to make friends with influential individuals to expand my network. I was impressed by how involved the sisters were, and knew I'd be making friends that would last a lifetime. Additionally, this sorority has afforded me the perfect opportunity to be my true self around woman that support and love me.

I decided to look into rushing a sorority to find an organization where I felt at home with a diverse group of sisters who shared my values and would support and encourage me while at Brandeis and after. I'm extremely grateful that I was able to find that in Alpha Pi Phi. Since becoming a sister, aside from creating amazing friendships that will last beyond college, I've seen myself try new things and take steps out of my comfort zone thanks to the encouragement of my APP sisters.

I wanted to join a diverse community of people who I could learn and grow along side of. Through Alpha Pi Phi, I have made some of the best friends of my college career and some of the best memories. We all come together from different places, and different backgrounds to support and encourage each other. My transition from high school to college was a difficult one. As a shy person, leaving all the friends I'd ever had at home was scary and making new friends at brandeis while balancing a full courseload was really tough. However, during my second semester of my first year, I met a wonderful, supportive group of people who helped me branch out. Joining APP gave me back the confidence I lost when I came to college and I couldn't be more grateful to have this amazing group behind me!

I joined APP because people here are really bonded and I love to keep it tight. I feel so lucky to meet the most amazing sisters who I can actually have a heart to heart time with whenever we need each other. So I hope more people can share this kind of feeling.
